TeenDocs
Dear Screen Educators,

Do you know a promising 13 to 19 year old film or video maker? If so, then we encourage you to have them submit a documentary on any topic of their choice at TEENDOCS.com.

TEENDOCS is a national youth documentary film competition. The top 3 films selected by AFI will be part of the world-class AFI / Discovery Channel SilverDocs Documentary Festival held in June 2010 at the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center, Silver Spring, Maryland.

The TEENDOCS rules are simple:
  • TEENDOCS is open to all 13 to 19 year-olds living in the U.S.
  • The films must be 10 minutes or less
  • You must upload your film to YouTube, then submit the link to the film at TEENDOCS.com
  • You may enter as many films as you wish
  • Films are due by May 1, 2010

Download the PDF to post at your school.

Best BuyTEENDOCS is a program of YMCA Y-Arts & AFI ScreenNation.

AFI ScreenNation made possible by a grant from the Best Buy Children's Foundation.
